What is DEEREVPN-S?

DEEREVPN-S (John Deere VPN Extended to Suppliers) is a remote access solution that provides secure access to the John Deere network over the Internet using Virtual Private Network (VPN).

The following information should be used to get a supplier up and running from a software and connection perspective. Suppliers must work with their assigned John Deere Sponsor to request credentials, and access to specific resources.

STEP 1 Antivirus Software and Firewall

It is recommended by John Deere Corporate Computer Security that you maintain current anti-virus software and a hardware or software firewall. John Deere reserves the right to immediately revoke your access at anytime without warning if suspicious network traffic is detected.

STEP 2 DEEREVPN-S Credentials

1. You must have received valid John Deere RACF userid and password from your John Deere Sponsor. (You used your RACF User ID and Password to access this web site.)

IMPORTANT: We recommend you take a few minutes to register at
http://forgotpass.deere.com in case you later forget your password.

2. You must have received instructions on how to register with Okta for Multi-Factor Authentication. If you have, not please click here

STEP 3 Internet Connectivity

Your computer must be connected to the public Internet in order to download connect to John Deere. See the following internet connection methods.

Option 1 Internet connection (i.e. company LAN) - You may need to work with your local LAN administrator to allow special network ports and IP address to the internet.

Option 2 Home Broadband - Your home Cable or DSL connection can be used for DEEREVPN-S providing you have configured your home router/firewall

Option 3 Other - DEEREVPN-S may also work in a number of other situations where you have public internet access although there is no support model for this.
